American Sign Language 3
The goal of this class is to immerse students into the language. We will learn some new things and expand and reinforce the skills we have already learned (such as maps, sequencing, and receptive comprehension). Students will work to comprehend material in ASL.
Materials needed: There is no book for this class. Teacher will provide all handouts as needed.

American Sign Language 2
Deaf culture and ASL are inseparable. This year we will explore deaf culture through film. We will look at values, rules, and traditions that made deaf culture what it is today.

American Sign Language 1
This will be a two-part class. The first part is focused on the language. We will learn vocabulary, grammar, and syntax. This will be reinforced through games, activities, and projects. The second half is focused on deaf culture. We will learn about the values, rules, and traditions of their culture through film.
Homework is approximately 1-2 hours a week.

Elementary American Sign Language
Younger students will be introduced to American Sign Language using a series called Story Time with Signs and Rhymes. We will learn vocabulary for food, family, colors and many more along with fun in class activities.
Materials needed: Teacher will provide all materials for this class.
